Penang Trip - Day 1

The flight is at 7am and therefore we need to reach airport by 6am. Baobei is very co-operative and she woke up excitedly, took her milk and after our last final pack-up.. PENANG, here we come.

This is our first time taking Jet-star budget airline, since is only an hr journey time passes very fast.

After we have arrived Penang Int'l Airport, we took the airport taxi just need to go arrival hall - taxi counter and we pay 42RM to travel down to Gurney Drive, whole journey takes about 45mins to reach G-Hotel. Though the hotel check-in time suppose to be 3pm, we managed to check in upon arrival. (this is the 2nd time i stayed in this hotel, it is rated as boutique hotel simply love their reception area... Look at the deluxe room, it is just so spacious. The toiletries provided from the hotel is specially from Aigner..

Ok, after settling down and off we go to enjoy our every single itinerary in Penang - Gurney.

Thru the hotel, we book a taxi at hourly rate 40RM to bring us around. In summary of our itinerary, total 4.5hrs:

- Chocolate Shop

- Coffee Shop
- Honey shop
- Penang Botanical Garden
- Penang Bridge
- Kek Lok Si Temple
- Tau Sa Biscuit shop

After we have returned to the hotel, first thing we do was, GET CHANGED TO SWIM... Weather is really really hot, even don't swim, soak into water can help to cool our whole body. Stomach is hungry now, time for dinner. We just settle our dinner at the nearby hawker and we tried the Fried Oyster, Char Kway Teo Stall (not opened). Baobei luv the Wantan Mee, she ate like 3/4 of the whole plate.

After recharge with food, is time to shop... Just "window-shopping" in Gurney Plaza till 9pm and that we ended our day......
