Baby's Jaundice

This is to record for how we treated baby's jaundice... In case, few months or years later when someone asked.. and i forgot all about it...

Baby's jaundice level was about 12.1 and it lasted for about 3wks.. What mummy and popo did was, to boil Jin Ying Hua (aka Honeysuckle Flower) to bathe baby... It is commonly sold in all medical hall, and we bought ours from Hock Hua.. Now the price of this flower has raised up to $110 per kg comparing to years ago when we bought for baobei..., we bought like 50g each and pay $5.50. After boiled the flowers, we used the water to bathe baby.. this con't on for like about 2-3wks.

Also, from other aunties' advise, popo also made red date water for baby to drink it must be 7 red dates, put alittle of water, and double boiled it.. each feed is only about a tablespoon much, and we feed him twice.

After few days, jaundice starts to fade off.
