Mummy returns to TMC for removal of stitches....

today need to return back to gynae to remove the stitches... As is wkend, popo will usually proceed with her own activties, and we are on our own.. so has told daddy we might as well dine out then but juz be more conscious with the food and also need to do some groceries, bb neccessities are all running low... Initally I wanted to go United Sq which is nearer to TMC, daddy said it will be too crowded and therefore we went to Cpt instead.

Had our lunch at Soup restaurant, baby is sleeping so soundly in his *maxi-cosi carseat adapted with his newly bought Quinny Zapp*, had the Ah-Po Fan-shu leaves, soup of the day & steam mince pork with chestnut. Baobei is so happy, as she can finally has full mummy's attention, while baby is sleeping soundly in his stroller. We both went to Kiddy Palace and bought almost all the necessities, while daddy pushes baby around...

At the clinic, did another weight check. Yipee, I'm now 54.2kg, another 5.6kg to go.. This time round, can really feel the hot sensation feeling as the Dr pull out the stitches.. Though he was nice to think of a lame joke to distract me, the pain is quite unbearable as compare to my 1st preg and I still tell him, "is PAIN".. I also have told him about my engorgement & fever for the past few days, he prescribed me with 3days course of Danzen, a type of medic, which helps milk to flow more smoothly.. Miraclely, after taking the medic.. the pain almost gone..

A little talk on my overall appearance: except for my hip, the rest of my body are all shrinking back to my prenatal size.. I'm just looking forward to be able to wear back all my jeans & also a size "S" denim skirt which i bought when i was pregnant as a challenge for me....

Baobei has been wanting to take a photo with Dr Lim... He was too busy last week so this week he squeezed out 5mins of his time just not to disappoint her again. Spotted her happy face???

A little note on the Maxi-cosi carseat & Quinny Zapp.

\Mummy bought this 2nd hand carseat over the web, as baobei has said she wanted to have the same colour theme as her little brother, so mummy hunted high & low for this red colour infant carseat. Determination gets pay off again after waited for almost a month for the seller to sell off her Quinny Buzz as she initially wanted to sell as a package deal which I don't wish to get Buzz since it is so bulky, so waited till abt a month later when contacted again, the seller manage to sell off her Buzz and mummy finally dealed this at $150 and condition of it is relatively new.

As for the Zapp, main intention is to get Y2008 strawberry design preferably to get a 2nd hand set.. well, as we really wanted to buy Y2008 model most of the stores ie. spring maternity, baby hyperstore, etc all have been OOS.. Mummy found the model thru http://www.babynova.com.sg/ and thought they have the stock for it so placed the order online. After contacted to the PIC, then realised that it is also OOS, guess really fated to get Y2009 model... PIC, Ivan, is quite a nice guy, he arranged for a almost immediate delivery instead of 3 working days, he delivered the BN Y2009 Zapp - Oriental, on the 2nd day upon order. And mummy only topped out the balance of $52 on top of the $378 paid upfront. Upon delivery, he even patiently fixed up the stroller for us at 9.30pm!!!... *thumbs up for their service* Mummy & Daddy just love Red for the kids, it is unisex and colour stands out...
