All this while, we have been changing different batches of fishes and finally have 2 goldfishes and 1 small breed of those tropical fish which have been the survivals throughout the months. Till 1 day, when baobei told daddy that she doesn't has enough fish. And daddy told her, he will help to add on to the aquarium family.
Things got bad, 2 days later after daddy's comment, 1 of the goldfishes died. subsequently another 2 days, the other goldfish also died... Baobei got very upset, and we told her if she behaves well we will bring her out to buy new fishes later.. And she really behaves. She sleeps, eats her dinner. no grouchiness.
In order to keep promise, right after we had our dinner, we took her to Fernvale aquarium shop. So sad, the shop isn't opened. And how??? We called Jiujiu's helpline. Asked him to bring us to the one of the nearest shop in Hougang. And there we bought this batch of Mickey Mouse Fishes... Why are they call Mickey mouse?? All the tails have this Mickey mouse "logo" imprint.. haha.. cute right? Jiujiu said he pays for the fishes, $3.60 for 6 of them
After we came home with the fishes, Baobei freed them into the tank. See her contented face.
Well.. this doesn't last... days after days, the fishes died 1-by-1. By the 6th day, all the fishes are gone. This is due to the higher chlorine level of water in Fernvale. Also the "disease" passed on by the older batch of fishes..
AS recommended by the aquarium shop owner in Fernvale, we need to "Sterilise" the whole tank before getting new fishes...
