It is about 2hrs journey from SGP to Tanjong Palais Terminal. Throughout the journey, baobei seem to be very excited.. 1st time taking boat together with Meimei Chloe...
But... when we reach the terminal, weather first is the killer.. It is so hot!!!.. And from the ferry terminal, we still have to take a 5mins car ride to another terminal to take a boat, to another place... It was raining heavily all sudden, and in order to get on to the boat, we have to walk a wooden plank...
The boat is rather rundown, no aircon, and is super crowded... See baobei's shirt you will know how hot it is.. (She is wet not becos of the rain but becos of the sweat)!!!
About 45mins boat journey, we reach the 2nd place, from there we still have to take another 45mins of car ride in order to reach the Grandma's house....
Well, by time we reached there, the GRandma is so happy to see all of us till her tears flow down from her eyes.
Quickly settle the girls, as they have not bathe since morning.. We brought them to bathe with "well water" it is cold (where to find water heater)??. but it is really refreshing..!! Soon after the girls took a nap together.. so adorable..
ASked Baobei how many "Tai-Ma (aka Great Grandma) she has, she said "2".. 1 in Sgp, 1 here.. Haha...
Before we leave the place to the hotel, brought baobei out for a short walk.. This is what we call Kampong Lifestyle.. Chicken & Chicks are roam freely.. Is all trees, and no high rise buildings.
